I am Jon Santamaría, and I am defined by my curiosity, restlessness and desire to learn. I have cultivated these qualities over the years, thanks to my passion for traveling and discovering new cultures, people and flavors. Each experience has helped me to enrich my way of seeing life and, of course, my way of understanding photography.

However, what I enjoy most is spending time with my little girls and my life partner. They are my greatest source of energy and inspiration on a daily basis.

When it comes to wedding reportage, I value every opportunity as a way to connect with couples. I create a close and relaxed atmosphere so that when it comes to capturing their unique moments, they can show themselves as they are, without reservation.

My passion for wedding photography began when I entered this world, learning from great references that helped me find my own style. Today, my goal is to immortalize your story in an authentic way and full of real emotions.

MY FAVORITE MOMENTS ON A WEDDING DAY

1. The preparations: the magic of small details

It is the beginning of a day full of emotions. Nerves, spontaneous laughter and gestures full of complicity between friends and family create a unique atmosphere. I love to capture those little details: the last glance in the mirror, the final touches and the trembling hands while adjusting the accessories. They are intimate moments that tell a lot about your story.

2. The “I do”: emotions in the open

The instant in which everything makes sense. The looks that cross each other’s eyes, the tears contained and the sighs of those who accompany you make it one of the most special moments. It is where emotions overflow, and my goal is to reflect them in the most authentic and natural way possible.

The celebration: laughter, hugs, and pure happiness

After the ceremony, the energy changes. Smiles multiply, hugs become warmer, and each guest joins in the celebration of your love. I love capturing those moments full of life: the spontaneous dances, the emotional toasts, and every gesture that shows the joy of the moment.
